Thompson is currently a consultant and general pathologist with Southern California Permanente Medical Group in Woodland Hills.\u00c2\u00a0 He graduated summa cum laude from Columbia Union College (Maryland).\u00c2\u00a0 He obtained his medical degree and and orthopedic surgery internship at Loma Linda University Medical Center.\u00c2\u00a0 He completed a pathology residency at UCLA, with an emphasis in cytopathology.\u00c2\u00a0 He worked at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology serving as Chief of the Otorhinolaryngic Head &amp; Neck Division of the Department of Endocrine and Otorhinolaryngic-Head and Neck Department, and served as Chief of immunohistochemistry division.\u00c2\u00a0 He also worked as a Cytopathologist for Walter Reed Army Medical Center.\u00c2\u00a0 He has published 48 book chapters and has well over 200 publications, mostly in the fields of endocrine or head and neck pathology.<\/p>\n<p><!--cforms name=\"Register\"--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Surgical Pathology of Important Clinical Endocrine Disorders<br \/>\nLester D.R.
